Originally hailing from a New Zealand dairy farming family, Corey moved to Australia in the late 1990s as a cabinetmaker before entering the wine industry in 2000. Corey has worked in vineyards ever since and has been managing the Ladbroke Grove vineyards since 2012. When not in the vineyard, Corey enjoys time with his family and anything motorcycle-related.
Growing up in the Padthaway wine region, the lure of a career in the wine industry was always present. After spending a number of years actively involved in the family vineyard and viticultural businesses throughout Australia, the thought of venturing into winemaking proved too strong. An introduction into winemaking began in Mount Benson in 2003 whilst studying Wine Science at Charles Sturt University. In 2005 the move was made to Coonawarra and he commenced his current position with Ladbroke Grove in 2010. In his downtime, Sean can be found riding motorbikes, dreaming of visiting the Isle of Man bike race and keeping his eye on the metal music scene.
Starting out as a cellar hand with Ladbroke Grove in 2011, Nathan quickly developed a passion for winemaking and is currently studying Wine Science at Charles Sturt University. When not in the winery or studying, Nathan can be found on the cricket pitch playing for Penola Cricket Club or watching his beloved Adelaide Crows.
